“A social experiment”: the creator of Léna Maréchal’s fake account comes out of silence after the deletion of the profiles

Fake accounts known as "deepfakes" d’Amandine Le Pen and Léna Maréchal have been deleted. The author of one of the profiles spoke out, explaining that his message had no political aim.

On Tiktok, fake accounts of "deep fakes" (generated by artificial intelligence) Amandine Le Pen or Léna Maréchal Le Pen who promoted the RN or Reconquête, have been deleted.

"Not very happy"

Léna Maréchal for example, had more than 32,000 subscribers. If these accounts called to vote for Jordan Bardella in the Europeans, promoted the National Rally and Reconquest, the party of Eric Zemmour to which Marion Maréchal-Le Pen joined, all refuted any link with these accounts.

The Le Pen family had also stated that they were "not very happy" of this initiative and the Reconquest party had made several reports.

Finally, as noted by several Internet users as well as BFMTV this Monday, April 15, the accounts of the two fake Le Pen nieces were deleted. The creator of Léna Maréchal Le Pen's profile was able to be found and contacted by our colleagues.

"Nothing political"

Questioned by BMFTV, he assured that his initiative " had nothing political". Preferring to remain anonymous, he clarified that it was a "social experiment" serving to "demonstrate the dangers of disinformation and deepfakes".

And to add: "It is only by educating on these subjects that we will get there".
