A swarm of ants flying picked up by weather radar

Un essaim de fourmis volantes capté par des radars météo

A dense swarm of ants flying has deceived the eye of meteorologists in English, Friday, while the radars have picked up the cloud of insects.

“It’s not raining in London, Kent or Sussex, but our radars indicate otherwise,” responded on Twitter the Met Office national weather service of the United Kingdom.

The radar images released by the organization show a blue area which is normally attributed to precipitation.

“During the summer, the ants may fly up in mass when the weather is hot and humid, and there was no wind,” explained the agency.
