A drug dealer paillera doubly dear to the abuse of a woman. In addition to the detention, Revenu Québec has seized a $ 170,000 of property failing to pay his taxes.

In September 2018, the officers from the SQ went in Sylvain Lemieux in St-Alexis-des-Monts after a woman, fearing for his safety, was contacted. On the spot, the police found that the woman had suffered “various abuses” that have required transport to the hospital.

Lemieux has been arrested and accused of forcible confinement, assault with a weapon and assault causing injury at the courthouse of Shawinigan. However, the work of the investigators did not stop there as they found 230 kilos of cannabis and other production equipment.

Revenu Québec has therefore investigated in turn and established that Sylvain Lemieux had not paid his taxes for a value of 169 922 $. A notice of execution after judgment has allowed Revenu Quebec to seize several properties belonging to the trafficker for which a Robinson R22 helicopter, an ultralight, and vehicles of pleasure yachts.

For all offences committed against his victim, as the one related to the trafficking of drugs, the 52 year old man has received a sentence of 42 months in prison in June 2019. Lemieux has faced multiple charges of drug trafficking since 1987.
