A victim of Pascal Montembeault said: “I’m going to make him his own coin”

A young woman of 17 years, which is part of the 103 victims of sexual predators Pascal Montembeault, was able to testify at the courthouse of Sherbrooke.

“I’m going to make him his own coin. I’m going to give him what he has done for me and that it gets better after,” says the young woman under the guise of anonymity, who was 14 at the time of the facts.

The man of Three-Rivers had already pleaded guilty to 163 charges, including luring a child, invitation to sexual touching and production of pornographic material.

The modus operandi of Pascal Montembeault was always the same. He used the social networks or dating sites for a teenager to come in contact with minors.

“In two hours, it turned into conversations of a sexual nature […] And when we gave rendez-vous, it happened in 48 hours, maybe. And then when I saw it, I was downright frozen,” explains the young woman to TVA Nouvelles.

The teenager has suffered a concussion after being hit with an iron bar on the night of the assault. After three years of waiting, the victim was finally able to hear his testimony.

“The psychological consequences, the migraines because of my concussion. I just explained it. The self-injury, suicidal ideation, suicide attempts, outlines-t-it.

For 103 victims, Pascal Montembeault would have been 103 years in prison.

“I hope that it will be equivalent to how many lives it has destroyed. There are over a hundred” wishes to the teen.

The defense requested a sentence of imprisonment of 9 years and a half, while the Crown requires 20 years. The judge takes the decision under advisement.
