ROUYN-NORANDA – The Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue (UQAT) has launched a virtual space dedicated to aboriginal issues.
The project was unveiled on the occasion of the national Day of indigenous peoples.
UQAT reiterated on Friday its commitment to continue the development of training and research in link with First Nations and Inuit.
Accessible on the site web UQAT, this virtual space will be devoted to the teaching, research and services to communities in connection with issues and aboriginal issues, has been provided.
“In the interests of accessibility and user-friendliness, this new platform aims to facilitate the sharing of, and collaboration with prospective students as well as current partners or to come,” said the University in a press release.
Dns its action Plan 2019-2024, UQAT aims to bring together the expertise related to aboriginal issues.
