A whole month of February for Artemi Panarin

Artemi Panarin is without a doubt the player of the hour in the National Hockey League. The New York Rangers winger has eight points in his last two games and has been dominating since the start of February.

Inspired by his All-Star stint, the Russian has amassed 12 points in five games since returning from the break. Sunday, he had the fourth game of five points of his career, and he added it Wednesday night with three points against the Vancouver Canucks.

“He says he is a passer, but he can score too,” Mika Zibanejad told NHL.com of his teammate, who has six goals in two games.

Panarin scored his two goals of the night in the first period . Jimmy Vesey, who picked up an assist on one of those kills, summed up everyone's thinking.

“He can be as dangerous as anyone in the league. Right now, he's on fire, and that makes him difficult for other teams to face,” said the American.

This season, the 31-year-old striker has 18 goals and 44 mentions assist on his record, for a total of 62 points in 54 games.
