Aaron Rodgers: a decision in the next few weeks

DAY

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers hasn't closed any doors on his future, and he's confirmed he'll make his decision in the coming weeks on Tuesday.

While on the podcast “The Pat McAfee Show”, the 39-year-old athlete revealed his feelings, while specifying that it was possible that the Green Bay Packers were confusing the issue by deciding to trade it.

“I'm going to need a little more time to make a decision. I think in a few weeks I'll be more comfortable with one of the choices I have to make,” Rodgers said, hinting at the possibility of hanging up his cleats.

In 2022, the Californian could not repeat his exploits from the 2020 and 2021 campaigns, during which he was named NFL Most Valuable Player. He threw 26 touchdown passes and had 3,695 passing yards, but had 12 interceptions and 32 sacks.

With nothing left to prove, Rodgers must determine his he still has the fire for this demanding sport.

“You have to be aware of what is going on in your head during the season, he insisted. Did you enjoy working so much? Did you enjoy training? Did you enjoy the team meetings and the routine? We must not forget these feelings and we must take them into account before making an irrational decision.
