Accident of motocross in Lanaudière: a man was fighting for his life Friday night
OUR-LADY-OF-THE-THANK-you | A motorcyclist was fighting for his life Friday evening after making an exit from the road and then crashed into a tree in Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci, near Saint-Donat in the Lanaudière region.
The accident happened shortly before 20h on the chemin Saint-Guillaume.
According to the information provided by the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), the motorcyclist, who was driving a dirt bike, lost control of his vehicle and ended up on a tree.
We feared for his life at the end of the evening.
Speed and alcohol may have played a role in the accident, according to the SQ.
