The small terrace of the Maison Coucourus, on the Place de la Madeleine in Béziers, welcomed, this Tuesday, September 3, around 5 p.m., the actor, director, host and singer for a signing session on "his" bottles of wine.
One could be doubtful, wonder… But ultimately, there is nothing surprising in marrying a wine to a personality from the artistic world since these two universes rest on the same foundation: that of creation.
It is therefore this beautiful marriage that was celebrated this Tuesday, September 3, around 5 p.m., on the Place de la Madeleine, in Béziers. More precisely on the terrace of the Maison Coucourus. Philippe Lellouche, actor, comedian, director, host and singer, said “yes” to the vintage “Face à la mer”, a red AOP Faugères produced by the Chabbert family, from Château Chênaie, in Caussiniojouls. A wine bottle signing session was organized by Virginie, the manager of the business, and her son Gauthier.
Promoting a wine from aqui
In the role of the matchmaker ? The Béziers producer and director Antoine Ros, at the origin of the concept. "I love my region and the wine produced by its winegrowers. This is the main reason that pushed me, more than ten years ago now, to associate a wine and an artist. To promote a bottle and the work of an artist."
Nicolas Peyrac, Patrick Hernandez, Bernard Le Coq… This Tuesday, Philippe Lellouche, like more than fifteen artists, united their destiny with that of a nectar of Bacchus. However, the older brother of actor Gilles Lellouche is not particularly a big wine drinker. “But it's an honour to have my vintage. I discovered this wine a year ago, in a restaurant in Toulouse where I was eating with my friend Antoine Ros. I liked it straight away. So I accepted his offer. And then, it's always fun to have and see your face on a bottle!", he smiles between two autographs.
Tomorrow, Wednesday September 4, the actor, biker and Brescoudos at heart, will join his group of friends on Harleys to take part in the traditional party before returning to Paris to prepare for his big European tour of his one man show "Stand alone" which he will first perform in the capital in October and November. The public will also be able to find Philippe Lellouche from September 11 as host of the game show “Let the best win”, broadcast on M6 at 8 p.m.
