The prefect of Hérault has decided to suspend school transport in areas affected by snow and to prevent the risk linked to frost and ice.
After the episode of snow on the hills this Thursday in Hérault, frost will fall on the department. This is why the prefect of Hérault decided to suspend transport this Friday, January 12, only in the morning, in three sectors very impacted by the snowy weather. These are Lodève, Bédarieux-Saint-Gervais and Saint-Pons-de-Thomières and Olargues.
Negative temperatures are in fact forecast on the coast and in the plains between 0 and -2°. It will be even colder inland with temperatures between – 5° at -6° on the side of Pic Saint-Loup in the London basin or to the east towards Castries. Ditto in the upper cantons where the mercury will drop to 7° in places.
