After this summer's success, the Guilde de l'histoire is heading towards 2025, announcing a new formula full of surprises
|This weekend, the Guild's history tellers will actively participate in the heritage days in Saint-Etienne-des-Sorts and Vénéjan.
The amateur troupe, artisans who pass on the local history relay, is very active throughout the year in the Gard Rhodanien. Last week, the volunteers, in period costumes, participated in the commemoration of the departure of the Vigan-Braquet Commando in Bagnols-sur-Cèze. This weekend, they will participate in the heritage days.
A successful bet for the actors of “La nuit des temps, 2000 d’histoire rhodanienne", 2024 edition, performed in the magnificent and history-filled setting of the courtyard of the Château de Cornillon in August. President Patrick Grandjean takes stock of the evenings that were sold out: “Our essential Pascal Thourez reviewed the staging, the backstage redesigned according to the volume of actors and multiple costume exchanges. Security on stage was the subject of particular care with rehearsals to familiarize the actors with the set. The association now has two reception sites, the Moulin de Vénéjan and the Château de Cornillon. 2025 will see us with a new formula full of surprises, at the Moulin de Vénéjan. Very soon we will return to Cornillon, thanks to the municipality which has confirmed the wish to continue the human adventure of the sixty volunteers of the Guild of History."
The troop of amateurs, artisans passing on the local history relay, will be present and will actively participate in the animation of the heritage days, on September 21 and 22 in Vénéjan and Saint-Étienne-des-Sorts.
