Le Racing repart à l’assaut d’un championnat compétitif. RCO AGDE

Le RCO Agde débute son championnat samedi 24 août à 16 h 30, au stade Louis-Sanguin, face aux Corses du Gallia Lucciana.

RCO Agde is preparing to launch its season in National 3 this Saturday, August 24, with a first match against the Corsicans of Gallia Lucciana. With a kick-off at 4:30 p.m. at the Louis-Sanguin stadium and free entry.

Experienced players to strengthen the team

This season again, Racing is expected to be among the leading teams in this championship. And the club has spared no effort to maintain its rank, with quality recruitment. Among the new recruits, we note the arrival of experienced players such as Romain Taillan and Sacha Marazovic, who have come to strengthen the squad.

At the same time, the RCOA continues to play a training role by integrating promising young talents such as Quentin Leroux and Vincent Chamboro, who have been convincing in Regional 1. On the renewal front, coach Jean-Bernard Reboul has managed to keep key players, including Saber Sairafy, Matt Darmon, Khaled Mazgouti and Micka Peyriguey, as well as other important players in the squad.

A high-level championship

The championship promises to be very tough again this year, with in particular the professional reserves of Montpellier and Olympique de Marseille, three trips to Corsica and the return of Alès to N3, after a move to a higher division last season. RCO Agde's opponents in Group J also include Aigues-Mortes, Beaucaire, Cannet Rocheville, Fos-sur-Mer, Entente Uga Ardziv, Rousset, Villefranche Saint-Jean Beaulieu, as well as Corsican clubs Lucciana, Corte and Sud FC (Ste-Lucie-de-Porto-Vecchio).

The surprise departure of Brice Boufrizi

President Jean-Michel Oltra is confident and assures that Racing is cut out to have a good run: “Once again, we are expected to play at the top of the table”, he explains. “We have strengthened ourselves like all the clubs and the level of this championship continues to rise. The departure of our striker Brice Boufrizi in N2, ten days before the restart, is a surprise, but our group is solid this year. He will be quickly replaced and the requests to join our structure are numerous. I can't wait for the championship to start.”

See you this Saturday, August 24, in Sanguin!
