Agde: with nearly 65,000 entries in one year, Château Laurens keeps all its promises

Despite three closures this winter, the site was able to attract a clientele curious to discover this symbol of Art Nouveau. A monument like no other in Occitania.

The adoption of the internal regulations of Château Laurens and a new pricing system was on the agenda of the municipal council.  The opportunity for the deputy in charge of museums and heritage, Christine Antoine, to provide some precise figures on the monument, which opened its doors to the public a year ago.

In total, 64,445 visitors have already passed through the gates of Château Laurens, despite a three-month closure, between last December and March. "And for the month of May 2024 alone, we recorded nearly 8,000 entries", welcomes the elected official. The boutique is also doing very well, with 26,000 € of turnover between March 1 and May 15!
