ALGIERS – The doctors involved in the fight against the COVID-19 have been ‘rewarded’ by the holy books of the Qur’an.
In a hospital of Sidi Bel Abbes, a town in the west of the country, the algerian police has paid tribute to doctors by providing them with the Qur’an, reported Saturday the local media.
“Providing Korans to doctors algerians are all of profession muslim and that all families have in their homes several copies of the holy book, this initiative is quite simply ridiculous”, has denounced “Algeria” Part.
The online journal highlights the lack of means of protection for doctors who are faced with the shortage of oxygen and the problem of insecurity in the units COVID-19 in the hospitals algerians.
In Algiers, in the largest hospital, the teaching hospital Mustapha Pacha, who suffers from overload, the ministers of Health and religious Affairs has distributed copies of the Koran to the sick and the carers, reported for its part, the newspaper “Freedom”.
