MISE & Agrave; DAY

Author Danielle Trottier, who also wrote “Unit 9” in collaboration with Aetios Productions, Fabienne's company Larouche and Michel Trudeau, said to have toured the garden of Marie-Labrecque school, where she helped pregnant teenagers grappling with heavy stakes.

“There are topics that can be explored in different ways. That was the case with “Unit 9”, there was something very diverse. Whereas in “All my life”, the fear of repeating yourself, the fear of coming back to topics that have already been discussed, that's what leads me to say: “okay I think we've done the trick”. I've given a pretty diverse canvas of characters who go through this situation. I still wrote 72 episodes, “Trottier said in an interview with the QMI Agency on Tuesday.

The series, which has an average audience of 1,124,000 viewers so far according to ICI Télé, has tackled issues such as incest, domestic violence, gender change, etc. over the seasons.

< p> “All life” also offered noteworthy performances from regular actors – Hélène Bourgeois Leclerc, Roy Dupuis, Micheline Lanctôt, Larissa Corriveau -, but also from the side of supporting roles, such as those defended by Myriam LeBlanc, Marie-France Marcotte, Marie-Ève Beauregard or Tiffany Montambault.

“What I am most proud of is to have witnessed the reality of these young people aged 12 to 17, in a hurry to live, confronted with the painful choices or the challenges of a teenage pregnancy, of their despair as of their resilience. The exceptional talent of the young actresses and comedians who have paraded over the seasons has often given me shivers down my spine, ”Ms. Trottier also said in a press release.

A new fiction

In mid-November, Danielle Trottier told QMI Agency that she had just completed the third season of “All of Life” and that she was giving herself a break before diving back into writing. She couldn't tell us that she was going to create a new universe and say goodbye to Marie-Labrecque School. “It was to be announced in January, we were taken by surprise,” she said.

The author is working on a new annual drama of 24 episodes per season and the project is far enough along that it should be noted that its broadcast is scheduled for the 2022-2023 season, on ICI Télé. Ms. Trottier works with the same collaborators, that is the director Jean-Philippe Duval and Aetios Productions.

Fabienne Larouche also wanted to salute the work of Mr. Duval on “All life”, he who was also involved in “Unity 9”, another series she produced. “Jean-Philippe Duval is a great director. Her sensitivity joins that of Danielle and ensures that her stories are as captivating on screen as on paper, that they come alive with their own life while being in accordance with the author's inspirations, ”said the producer. .
