The leader of the Bloc québécois, Yves-François Blanchet, has to make the point on Sunday on allegations of sexual misconduct of which it is the object.
VAT News has learned that he does not withdraw from his functions, and to defend against the allegations.
A point release should take place around 13: 30.
Recall that Mr. Blanchet was accused Wednesday on Facebook to have kissed a woman without her consent. The testimony, published anonymously, was accused as the politician of having incited the woman to have sex with him. The facts date back to the late 1990s, a time when Yves-François Blanchet was manager of the singer Éric Lapointe.
The leader of the Bloc was immediately denied “unequivocally” the allegations and had not commented on the case since.
