Allergies: the risk of pollen particularly high due to the good weekend weather

The National Aerobiological Surveillance Network (RNSA) placed almost all of France this Friday, April 12, at high risk from allergies linked to birch pollen.

Those allergic to pollen will probably not benefit from the sunny weekend as much as others. The cause is a particularly high risk, which concerns almost the entire territory.

"The return of warm, sunny summer weather this weekend will encourage the emission of pollen into the air. The risk of allergy will remain high in 3/4 of the country for birch pollen which is very allergenic and very abundant", warns this Friday, April 12, the Network National Aerobiological Surveillance (RNSA).

The RNSA indicates that the conditions therefore maintain a particularly high risk for the birch. The current great mildness also brings forward the flowering of certain species.

Other pollens increase in intensity

"Oak and grass pollens are increasing in intensity and now affect almost the entire country, with an allergy risk ranging from low to medium. Although not all grasses are yet in flower, some are several weeks ahead of a typical year, underlines the allergo-pollen bulletin.
