Les policiers de la brigade des stups de Béziers ont mis fin à un trafic de produits stupéfiants qui rayonnait depuis Béziers jusqu’à Montpellier et aussi dans l’Aude. Les trafiquants assuraient même les livraisons à domicile.
On August 5, 2024, an anonymous witness, via the government platform “Sécurité.fr” denounced drug trafficking that was organized from an apartment located on rue Julien-Imbert, behind the Neuf cemetery in Béziers.”The platform “Sécurité.fr” replaces “Commissariat.fr”. It is an application that can be downloaded and that allows you to remain anonymous.
The police officers from the Béziers police station's narcotics squad discreetly set up surveillance of the premises after spotting a game that suggested that the information was reliable. The anonymous source also specified that two suspects delivered to homes in Montpellier, Aude and of course Béziers. A telephone number was also made available to the police to track the dealers.
They ordered via the darknet
Six customers were identified and then interviewed by the police. They confirmed that a 21-year-old and his 46-year-old father were supplying them with synthetic products. On September 17, the two suspects were arrested in the early morning by the police. They admit that they order the products from abroad via the darknet.
To get the products delivered, they managed to get a mailbox that hasn't been used for months so that the packages can be dropped off there. If necessary, they even have fake papers to pick up the packages at a relay point. To store their products, the suspects also have a box at their disposal.
Drugs of all kinds and 12,000 euros in cash seized
The searches of the home and the garage will confirm the trafficking. 100g of amphetamine are found, as well as 45g of MDMA, 65g of 3MMC, 22g of cocaine and 145g of GBL (This product mixed with water becomes GHB). Finally, 12,000 euros in cash are found in the apartment on rue Imbert. A young woman who appears to be the duo's main client will have to appear before the Béziers court as part of a summons by a judicial police officer (COPJ).
The two suspects were presented on Friday, September 20 before the Béziers criminal court, as part of an immediate appearance. They both requested time to prepare their defense. They were placed in pretrial detention until the date of their judgment.
