Quatre footballeurs du club de Velez Sarsfield (1re div. argentine) accusés d'agression sexuelle ont été placés lundi en garde à vue pour 48 heures à la demande du parquet qui a requis leur placement en détention provisoire, a indiqué l'avocate de la victime.

According to his lawyer, Me Patricia Neme, justice has "sufficient elements" to justify placement in pre-trial detention, the accused having, according to her, "sufficient economic means" to flee the country.

Players suspended

She added in an interview broadcast on television that the hearing of more than three hours by the Tucuman prosecutor had been trying for her client: & quot;At times she broke down because she had to remember the entire sequence of events she had experienced.. The Velez Sarsfield club announced Monday in a press release the suspension of the contracts of the four players and "reiterates its greatest concern about the reported facts which are clearly contrary to the principles and values ​​of our institution".
