An advertisement on the Canadiens jersey

The Royal Bank (RBC) will be prominently visible next season on the Montreal Canadiens red jerseys usually worn at the Bell Centre, as the two parties have signed a multi-year partnership agreement, a- we confirmed on Monday.
This decision was made after the National Hockey League allowed the presence of sponsor logos on the bibs of its teams for advertising purposes.
“We are very proud to be associated with such an iconic brand as RBC,” said France Margaret Bélanger, President, Sports and Entertainment, Groupe CH, in a press release. There are very few organizations that, like ours, have a heritage that dates back more than a century and have a tradition of making a difference in people's lives across generations. We would be hard pressed to find a more appropriate partnership than the one we can officially unveil today.”

The Habs recalled that the alliance sealed with the RBC “brings together two globally recognized brands, with a rich history 100 years”.
“At RBC, we believe that sport has the power to unite communities. And hockey, which is part of our rich Quebec heritage, brings together an entire nation, said Nadine Renaud-Tinker, Regional President, RBC-Quebec Branch. Teaming up with the Montreal Canadiens on this unprecedented partnership is an honor and we are incredibly excited to see it come to fruition as we continue to make an impact for the prosperity of Quebec, while engaging with our communities.”
Comprising the RBC name and shield with its iconic lion design, the crest will be featured on the team's official red jerseys, unveiled at the annual golf tournament of the organization on Monday. Measuring 3 x 3.5 inches, it will be sewn in the upper right part of the torso. Fans will be able to see it from the next training camp, during which the club will play eight exhibition games.
