MISE À DAY
During my career, I have had the opportunity to meet several animal artists. Among them, there is one who stands out, Daniel Bonneau.
After beginning in 1981, when he was painting in white on a black canvas, he was able to develop several techniques that allowed him to expand his range of productions, always with the same goal, which is to enhance wildlife. He rolled his bump in Quebec, before going to Europe for an exhibition in 1995. He has works in Europe, in the United States, without forgetting exhibitions at the Grand Théâtre de Québec and some forty of his works which are in the Charlevoix Museum. He wrote a book in 2015 titled A Life of Passion. Making tables with a single slice of a tree is part of his work, as shown in this photo. The latter is located at the FédéCP Administrative Center in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures. Works are exhibited at the Douce Passion Art Gallery in Old Quebec.
