The panorama was made up of more than 1000 images and has a resolution of 1.8 billion pixels
NASA has a monumental Martian panorama made from images taken by the Mars Rover Curiosity at the end of 2019. This wild panorama of the Martian landscape with the highest resolution, which the space Agency ever created (see below). It was composed of over 1000 images. A whopping 1.8 billion pixels. It’s Mars, which you’ve never seen.
On Mars there is a growing volume of oxygen: scientists confused
A composite image shows UltraChrome overview of the field of Mars, Glen Torridon in the Gale crater. The resulting panorama has a size of 2.25 GB, and allows to consider the surface of the red planet in great detail. Since the image size is large enough, NASA also created a smaller version to save bandwidth.
Panorama Of Mars
The crew’s Curiosity Rover has created images for four days last year. The team had to plan to capture images at the same time daily to ensure a constant lighting.
Until one has reached Mars, this is the most detailed of all and allow everyone to feel on the surface of this mysterious planet.
