A man was injured with a knife Thursday in an altercation in the city centre of Montreal.

According to the police, the facts were held to 0: 10 in the Cabot square, on the corner of Tupper street and Atwater avenue.

The altercation took place between two people. The victim, a 40 year old man, was injured at the bottom of the body. He was transported to the hospital, where he is not afraid about his life.

The suspect escaped before the police arrived.

An investigation has been initiated to understand the circumstances of the crime.
