An Instagrammer followed by 4.2 million fans takes her own life

A 31-year-old woman, extremely popular on Instagram and followed by more than 4.2 million people, has taken her own life.  

Niece Waidhofer was a model and was involved in mental health causes, among other things; in particular, she helped her admirers get through difficult times.

“Unfortunately, Niece took his own life after a long battle with mental health issues,” his family said at TMZ gossip site. 

“She was very transparent with her followers about her difficulties and even wanted to help those who were suffering.” 

A non-profit organization called “Peace from Niece” should be created in her honor, according to TMZ. The organization will help raise awareness of mental health issues and fund research.

A family member of Niece Waidhofer has notified emergency services after hearing no news from the woman . Officers attended her residence in Houston, Texas, where they found her lifeless. 

Shortly before taking action, she deleted almost all of her Instagram account, leaving only three photos, which alerted her admirers. 

When the news of Her passing broke, fans were quick to share their condolences on social media.

“She was beautiful and kind, sensitive and funny, creative and talented, generous and compassionate, thoughtful and nurturing. Although it's so painful to say goodbye, we are reassured to know that she is reunited with her father, her three grandparents, her Uncle Rusty and her beloved Puff; and that she is now free to be herself and, finally, at peace,” her loved ones added.
