An office for farmers opened by the Hérault prefecture

From Monday, the Hérault prefecture will receive farmers who wish to do so, without an appointment, in Montpellier, Béziers and Lodève.

"As of Monday March 4, 2024, agricultural offices will be set up, as close as possible to the field, at the prefecture of Hérault (Montpellier) as well as in the two regions -prefectures (Béziers and Lodève) of the department, announced the prefecture this Friday afternoon. This is with the aim of best supporting professionals who are going through a complicated period, "with personalized support and an exchange on all the difficulties encountered on farms."

From 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. without appointment

Reception will take place in the morning, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., without appointment, after presentation of a certificate from the MSA. Farmers will then be redirected depending on the problem encountered: Bank of France, public finance department, population protection.
