An optional workout without Dadonov
|SAINT PAUL'S DAY | There were 16 Canadiens players on the ice at the Xcel Energy Center for optional training, but Evgenii Dadonov was not one of them.
According to the team's version, Dadonov remains sidelined due to therapeutic treatments.
Acquired from the Vegas Golden Knights in the trade of Shea Weber, Dadonov appeared in the Habs' first eight games. Number 63 did not write his name on the score sheet.
Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Sean Monahan, Brendan Gallagher, Josh Anderson, Christian Dvorak and David Savard also opted for the rest a few hours before this game against the Wild.
Martin St-Louis will speak to the media in a few minutes.
In the Wild camp, Marc- André Fleury will get the start. The 37-year-old goalkeeper has won his last three games. Injured, forwards Ryan Hartman and Marcus Foligno will be absent.
