Anger of farmers: a snail operation announced this Tuesday, January 30 on the A75 in Lozère

La FDSEA et les JA annoncent une opération escargot sur l'A75 mardi 30 janvier à partir de 10h30, au départ simultané de La Canourgue et de La Garde.

The FDSEA and the JA 48 are planning a snail operation on the A75 motorway, this Tuesday, January 30, 2024. Two convoys should leave at 10:30 a.m., one from La Canourgue, the ;#39;other from La Garde, to meet around 12 p.m. in Antrenas.

At the same time, the Association of Mayors of Lozère (AMF 48) calls for "the mobilization of elected officials to support the&nbsp ;farmers during a peaceful demonstration on the A75". President Alain Astruc announces: "A meeting point is set in Antrenas at 12:30 p.m., where all participants will be able to meet and express their support for our farmers. A friendly meal will be considered, offering the opportunity for participants to meet, exchange and strengthen ties and discuss possible resolutions. Our farmers are at the heart of our local economy and our regional identity. Their precarious situation requires immediate and concerted action. By coming together around a peaceful demonstration, we are sending a strong message of support and solidarity towards our producers."
