It’s very disappointing! Not at all up to the expectations of the agricultural world and all production sectors, in particular on the sectoral announcements that we were expecting. On viticulture, there is no more concrete information, although we hoped to have a stronger signal compared to his first intervention last Friday. But no, there’s nothing new.

The Prime Minister still promised a wine emergency fund, in particular for Occitanie…

An emergency fund, certainly, but where is the structural measure that we have worked on and carried out from Sitevi on a temporary uprooting, with the possibility of restructuring the vineyards to conquer market shares ? For those who are in very great difficulty, where is the measure on the abandonment of production potential ? We have no answer at this stage. Certainly, it was expected that the Minister of Agriculture would have to clarify these announcements, but in the current context, what wine growers are waiting for is something concrete as quickly as possible, which the Minister will then deploy . More generally, we hoped for the announcement of a change in government software to avoid distortions of competition and massive imports that we may experience in the different production sectors; in the way of approaching the remuneration of farmers with the Egalim law; a strong position on transpositions; actions for generation renewal and transmission. But it’s still talk, without the actions we expect and very quickly.

Pac aid paid by March 15 is concrete…

But absolutely not acceptable since the Pac aid should have been paid from October 15 and no later than December. What we wanted was for this aid to be paid in full, for the 5-6% who were not able to benefit from it, before the Agricultural Show. end of February. The deadline is already too far away. Once again, there is nothing more than what he mentioned during his trip to Haute-Garonne, hence our disappointment. I call for rapid action in this very complicated situation to respond to the distress of farmers.

You no longer believe in the promise of a French agricultural exception ?

Trust will come first and foremost through actions rather than words.

The Minister of Agriculture is due to come to Hérault on Friday. What do you expect ?

What we are waiting for is for the Prime Minister to very clearly announce means to support viticulture, both on a cyclical and structural level, and for the Minister to be able to present these measures to us.&amp ;nbsp;This is yet another missed opportunity for not having more precisely displayed the direction both on the cyclical level and on the structural level. The work continues, including action. But we hope very quickly for new words from the Prime Minister.

The movement will therefore harden ?

Not announcing anything and waiting is not conducive to calming the troops. I am of course calling for accountability but concrete measures must arrive and quickly because the agricultural and wine world will no longer be able to wait indefinitely for announcements that should have come many months ago. There, it becomes completely inaudible!
