MONTREAL – A man was found seriously injured in the night from Saturday to Sunday in the area of Anjou, in Montreal.
A 911 call reported a man with serious injuries, sprawled on the rue Jean-René-Ouimet, between the boulevard Parkway and street Secant.
On the spot, the police have located a man in the thirties to the ground, bearing marks of violence on the body, said Véronique Comtois of the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).
The victim was transported to the hospital and there are fears for his life, pointed out to the officer Comtois.
A perimeter has been erected to protect the scene for investigators, assisted by forensic identification officers, attempted to analyze on-site to determine the circumstances surrounding this event.
A master-dog has been asked to assist, was added.
