Another loss for Bennedict Mathurin and the Pacers


It's a difficult end to the season for the Indiana Pacers, the team of Quebecer Bennedict Mathurin. 

Monday evening, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, the Pacers were outshot the Dallas Mavericks 127-104. This is the third straight loss for the team playing in Indianapolis. It is also the fifth setback in his last six outings.

In the clash of the day, Mathurin was the best of his team. The one who grew up in Montreal North amassed 26 points, four rebounds and two assists in 38 minutes of play. He was the player most used by his coach.

It is however “Mavs” star Luka Doncic who was the most dominant player in this duel. The Slovenian point guard had 20 points, seven rebounds and five assists. He was assisted by Jaden Hardy, who notably scored 20 points. Kyrie Irving was no slouch with his 16 points.

Mathurin and the Pacers will return to action on Wednesday night. For the occasion, they will receive a visit from the powerful Milwaukee Bucks. Giannis Antetokounmpo's team is at the top of the overall NBA standings.
