Dix jeunes taureaux de la manade Tommy Maire ont été lâchés ce samedi 10 mai, avant-dernier jour de la féria d’Alès.

From Pont-Vieux to the footbridge, a crowd eager for thrills, although less dense than the previous events, has gathered on the banks of the Gardon. Ten anoubles, aged between one and two years, were released over this short distance. Led by herd Tommy Maire, the young bulls rushed down the banks of the river, followed by, sometimes, very young catchers, determined to catch the black beast. Little disciplined, seeking to escape, the game between herdsmen on horseback and anoubles offer a release where the audience holds its breath.
