At each football World Cup and every Euro of its anthem . And this year it is marked by the return of Will Smith on the stage musical. The actor/american rapper joins forces with his fellow countryman Nicky Jam, and the young artist Albanian Era Istrefi for this title: Live it up.

The program, of course, a rhythm leading English lyrics, but also with passages in Spanish to be understood of all and feel the summer. A text that puts in before the holiday, the union through the differences and the overcoming of oneself. And a chorus easy to remember to sing the stages and the campsites throughout the season. The difference, however, is marked by a style less dancing, more rap.

“One life, live it thoroughly because you do that (…) We are the champions when our light shines (…) run like a champion and win like a king”. The words sound better in the original version.

Barely unveiled, the song caused reactions mixed. Many people welcome the return of Will Smith to the song, others criticized its appearance as a “commercial” and some wonder what do these american artists on the national anthem in an official competition that will take place in Russia.

Remains to be seen whether the song will leave a lasting memory. The anthems official of the previous world cups or european football are not really remained in the memory part may be the Waka Waka Shakira in 2010, which celebrated the first organization of the event in an African country.

But who still listens to the We are one Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull (Brazil 2014) or the Time Of Our Lives de Chawki (Germany 2006)?

David Guetta has not left a lasting memory of the Euro 2016 and almost nobody remembers’Endless Summer, anthem of the Euro 2012 signed a certain Oceana.

It should be noted that in 1998, I will survive Gloria Gaynor was the song of victory of the Blues, but the official anthem was the very forgotten The great court, performed by Axelle Red and Youssou n’dour.
