Arrested for tracking teenage girls on the web

An individual who allegedly tracked two teenage girls under the age of 14 on the Internet in recent months was cut off Thursday by the Sherbrooke Police Service.
The suspect reportedly contacted a 13-year-old girl from Gatineau and a 14-year-old from Sherbrooke. He would have held conversations with them sexually.

With the alleged victim of Sherbrooke, he even had a meeting. During this “appointment”, he allegedly committed a sexual assault.

“It was the relatives of the victims who got in touch with us. An investigation was made and we proceeded to the arrest of the suspect, “says the spokesman of the Sherbrooke Police Service, Martin Carrier.
