The chain has also unveiled the first info and the synopsis : the show will be centered on the daughter of Oliver and Felicity, Mia (Katherine McNamara), Laurel (Katie Cassidy) and Dinah (Juliana Harkavy), but what will happen ?

TV Line explained that Laurel (Katie Cassidy), Mia Smoak (Katherine McNamara) and Dinah (Juliana Harkavy) would be the three stars of the series-derived and that the story would take place in 2040.

The spin-off of Arrow is unveiled

For proof, the CW has just confirmed the spin-off and has even announced that it will be introduced in the final episode of season 8 of Arrow, titled Green Arrow & The Canary, released on January 21, 2020 on the chain. She also shared the synopsis : “In 2040 at Star City, Mia, the Queen has everything she could ever have dreamed of. But when Laurel and Dinah landed without warning in his daily life, things take a dramatic turn and his life is turned upside down. The Canary islands embarking on the pursuit of a person in the entourage of the Mia who has been kidnapped.

One can then read : “Aware of the consequences that this would entail, Mia can not help but play again the senshi, while Dinah, Laurel, and she herself will once again donning their costumes of super-heroines to save the city.” In addition to Katie Cassidy, Katherine McNamara and Juliana Harkavy, Charlie Banett, aka J. J, the son of John Diggle, will also return in the new series, whose filming has not started yet !
