Canadian-American actress Pamela Anderson, who rose to prominence on the covers of Playboyand who made an impression in the 1990s with the hit TV series Baywatch, is a far cry from the myth of the blonde in the luscious chest that knows how to do nothing but accumulate amorous conquests. After being the subject of a documentary, the 56-year-old star, who has often been compared to Marilyn Monroe, is releasing an autobiography, now available in French. She is an intelligent, determined, but also wounded, assaulted, violated and fragile woman who reveals herself without filter.
No question for Pamela Anderson to call on a biographer, a collaborator or a “ghost” author to tell her story. She wanted to do it herself, even though she had been told it would be difficult. – she while specifying that the process was much more arduous and longer than what she had anticipated. Nevertheless, the result exceeds expectations.
After her documentary released on Netflix in January 2023, Pamela a love story, her book, Love, Pamela, goes even further. We understand that she is a survivor of Hollywood, no more and no less.
Her story, interspersed with poems, is told with openness, because she is aware of being an imperfect person who has led a imperfect life surrounded by imperfect people knowing nevertheless that one must learn to live happiness in the very heart of the turmoil.
“We can never depend on others for our own happiness,” she stresses.
Rape and injuries
From the outset, we understand that his childhood was difficult. She was born on Vancouver Island in British Columbia in 1967 to loving parents, but very young to have a child. After being the playmate of the month, she decides to settle in Los Angeles. After a few roles in cinema and on TV, in 1992 she landed the role of Casey Jean Parker in the series Alerte à Malibu (Baywatch) which made her a star. international. Quite a gift for her.

She became an activist in particular for the conservation of the oceans and tropical forests.
