Gathered around their president, the 72 mayors of Alès agglo presented their wishes to the population present at the exhibition center.

In front of nearly 1,300 people gathered at the Méjannes-lès-Alès exhibition center, and in a 45-minute speech, Christophe Rivenq, the president of Alès agglo, presented his wishes. In his general policy speech, he presented his territorial project and reviewed thematically the qualities of the agglomeration where "here, tomorrow begins today".< /p>

Accompanied by the 72 mayors of the area, Christophe Rivenq commented on the demographic growth experienced by the agglomeration. He praised business leaders who "invest massively and contribute to economic development”.

Waste management, water resources, urban renewal, health, transport, industry, security, culture, tourism… are all themes addressed by Christophe Rivenq.

No big announcement revealed during the vows, but a "non-exhaustive list of current files" : studies for the construction of a second indoor swimming pool in the urban area, bypass of Saint-Christol-lez-Alès, connection with the University of Nîmes.

So far passive, the public loudly demonstrated its support for the president when the latter spoke about "our fight to obtain the western bypass of Nîmes and the end of the 2X2 ways." The public's expectations therefore match the challenges that await elected officials.
