Aston Martin: Lawrence Stroll wants even more

Aston Martin: Lawrence Stroll wants more

DAY

Even though the Aston Martin team is having a dream start to the Formula 1 season, the team's owner, Quebecer Lawrence Stroll, would have made even higher demands.

There is no doubt that the businessman is happy with the performance of Fernando Alonso, who finished on the podium at the first three Grands Prix of the year, and his son, Lance, who just finished fourth in Australia. But Stroll is aiming for nothing less than victory.

“[Stroll] told us without real delay, 'When are we going to win the next one?' Obviously, he is happy with our progress, but it is not enough for his ambitions,” Aston Martin sporting director Mike Krack told the F1 website on Thursday.

“This The good thing about Lawrence is that you always know what to expect – he always wants more, and we have to give more.”

The progress Aston Martin has made in 2023 is just phenomenal. Seventh in the constructors' championship last season, the British team is second with 65 points, nine more than Mercedes.

The next round of the F1 championship will be contested on April 30, in Baku, in Azerbaijan.
