At the Montpellier Arena, the basketball players of the French team supported the protection of marine and coastal environments

At the end of the France-Germany basketball match, which took place Monday evening in Montpellier, a check for 1,950 euros was presented by MAIF and the FFBB to an association which supports the protection of marine and coastal environments.

As part of their partnership and in the continuity of the "Every Basket Counts" launched in 2018, MAIF and the French Basketball Federation wish, in this year 2024, to promote the performances of the French Teams in favor of associations engaged in an eco-responsible approach.

Each point monetized at 30 euros

On the occasion of the match which saw France face Germany (66-70), on Monday July 8, at the Sud de France Arena in Montpellier, in preparation for the Olympic Games, each point scored by the tricolors was monetized to the tune of 30 euros.

At the end of the match, the 65 points scored by the French men's team made it possible to donate 1 950 euros to the Oasis association Sauvage, which supports the restoration of ponds and supports the protection of marine and coastal environments.
