The face of a new victim of the devastating car-ram attack yesterday in Toronto was unveiled Tuesday by a relative of the family.
Elwood Delaney posted a message on his Facebook page in which he confirmed the death of his grandmother, Dorothy Sewell, 80, in the deadly tragedy that left 10 dead and 14 wounded in the Queen City.
“I love you Dorothy Sewell. We will always love you, “wrote the man from Kamloops, British Columbia.
Mr. Delaney described his grandmother as a sports enthusiast.
Only one other victim has yet been identified, this is Anne Marie D’Amico , an employee of Invesco Canada. The young woman’s friends mourn the loss of an adorable person, always ready to help others.
The coroners provide several days to allow them to formally identify all victims. Their number and the severity of their wounds make identification particularly complex.
In addition, several victims are foreign nationals, which complicates the process.
