MONTREAL | Two teens have been the object of an attempted murder Monday in the neighborhood of Côte-des-Neiges, in Montreal.
According to police, around 1 a.m., gunshots are heard on the avenue Dornal, near the rue Lemieux. On the scene, the police did not find anyone.
At about 3 a.m., the two victims come to the hospital with injuries to the firearm.
The first, 16 years old, was wounded in the upper body, the second, 17 years old, at the bottom of the body. Their injuries were not life-threatening.
The two people are known to police and one cooperates with the police.
According to the preliminary data of the investigation, the two victims were sitting on the steps of a building of the avenue Dornal when two suspects on foot were fired in their direction before fleeing.
No arrest has been made in the context of this investigation.
