Aurélie Preston suspected of having ordered a violent kidnapping: the influencer and former reality TV star arrested in Montpellier

This Monday, August 5, 2024, influencer Aurélie Preston was arrested in Montpellier with two other people. She was taken into police custody in connection with a case of theft and kidnapping committed in Versailles (Yvelines).

After the indictment of Poupette Kenza, it is the turn of Aurélie Preston, former reality TV candidate (“Les Marseillais en Thaïlande”), to find herself before the courts. The influencer is “suspected of having ordered a very violent kidnapping at the home of a member of her ex-boyfriend's family”, according to information from BFMTV.

Arrested in Montpellier

This one was arrested in Montpellier, where she is installed, and is currently in the premises of the judicial police of Versailles (Yvelines), indicate our colleagues from Parisien.

< p>The 32-year-old woman is questioned by the police as part of a judicial investigation opened on August 2, on charges of “robbery with a weapon in an organized gang”, “kidnapping”, “intentional violence”and "criminal association".

But the one who converted to music is not the only person involved in this affair. Two other people were arrested and were also questioned by the BRB of the Versailles PJ.

What happened?

This whole story begins in June. On June 25, a man opened his front door and was quickly attacked by three individuals, including one posing as a flower delivery man, who beat their victim. The man is then handcuffed, his mouth taped.

The attackers ask him, tied to a chair, where the luxury watches are. The victim ends up losing consciousness. When he wakes up, the last criminal flees, with two Rolex watches worth 25,000 euros, our colleagues specify.

A revenge?

The victim turns out to be the brother of an ex-boyfriend of Aurélie Preston. The connection is quickly made with the influencer, who also participated in the  "Ch’tits versus les Marseillais" and "La villa des cœurs brisés", since the latter is angry with her former partner, a dentist in Switzerland, who allegedly trashed her mouth. A loss that she estimates at more than 100,000 euros, according to the news channel.

“She is suspected of having recruited the perpetrators of this kidnapping and theft to get revenge on her ex-boyfriend”, confides a source close to the case. As for Aurélie Preston's close friend, he is being held in police custody, he is suspected of having played the role of intermediary. An alleged attacker was also arrested in Villepinte in Seine-Saint-Denis. Note that the police custody could continue until Thursday.
