Arthur Cazaux, Richard Gasquet and Benjamin Bonzi know their fate, and were not lucky in the draw for the 2024 Australian Open.
The first round of French players at the Australian Open, which begins on Sunday, according to the draw made Thursday in Melbourne. Qualifying is scheduled to conclude on Friday.

Sinner is the only player to have overcome Djokovic after Wimbledon and until the end of the 2023 season: the young Italian (22 years old) even succeeded twice, at the ATP Masters (in the group stage) and in the Davis Cup. The Italian also won the Open Sud de France in Montpellier last season
The other theoretical semi-final pits world No.2 Carlos Alcaraz against world No.3 Daniil Medvedev. Alcaraz will launch his Australian fortnight against thirty-year-old Frenchman Richard Gasquet.

Caroline Garcia opposed from the start to Naomi Osaka
Japanese Naomi Osaka, former world No.1 and four-time Grand Slam winner, will face French No.1 Caroline Garcia in the first round of the Open d' Australia for her return to the Grand Slam after giving birth to her first child.
Osaka (26 years old), crowned in New York in 2018 and 2020 and in Melbourne in 2019 and 2021, has not played in a Grand Slam since the 2022 US Open. Her daughter Shai was born last July.
According to the draw made on Thursday, the theoretical semi-finals of the women's draw would pit world No.1 Iga Swiatek against world No.3 Elena Rybakina on the one hand, and the holder of the title and world No.2 Aryna Sabalenka to world No.4 Coco Gauff on the other hand.
