Avalanche player breaks neck

Veteran Andrew Cogliano suffered a serious injury in Game 6 of the series between the Colorado Avalanche and the Seattle Kraken on Friday.
L The “Avs” striker is suffering from a broken neck, the Sportsnet network revealed on Saturday.
Cogliano was tackled hard by Jordan Eberle in the second period. The Kraken forward was given a minor penalty for giving boards.
Despite the severity of the bodycheck ー and the injury to Cogliano ー, Eberle did not receive a penalty. appeal from the National Hockey League's player safety department.
The 35-year-old Cogliano is in his 16th season on the Bettman circuit. He has 19 points in 79 games in 2022-23.
The final game of this first-round series will take place on Sunday in Denver. And we can be sure that the “Avs” will not miss any opportunity to avenge the injury of their teammate.
