High temperatures are expected this Sunday, July 28 in the Aveyron department.

The mercury will rise again this Sunday, July 24 in Aveyron, as almost everywhere in France. If 13 departments are placed on orange alert for a “heatwave”, Aveyron will be classified as yellow for the same reason. “During the day on Sunday, a southerly flow and anticyclonic conditions are settling in and strengthening, warn the State services. Thus, a gradual rise in temperatures is beginning, an episode of high heat is expected in the departments of Hautes-Pyrénées, Ariège and Aveyron.”

Maximums of up to 36°C

Maximums will be felt in the plains in Aveyron. "The maximums are between 33 and 36°C in the plains and 32/33 °C on the heights, specifies the prefecture. During the night from Sunday to Monday, the minimums struggle to fall below 20°C on the plains and are positioned around
18/20°C on the heights."
