Back to TV: 25 events not to be missed in the fall

Back to TV: 25 events not to be missed! fall

BUILD À DAY

Who said TV was going to disappear! Back in 2022, it is more dynamic than ever. Live viewing is waning, but the public remains addicted to productions that they watch at their own pace, on the screen of their choice. Our TV does not lose feathers. She is creative, she fights against the monsters of big budget foreign productions, she dares, she amazes. It is made by talented, ingenious, efficient artists and artisans. She looks like us. It still brings us together. Just differently. This fall, new fictions will pique our curiosity. We will also find the characters we love who left us in the lurch for a while. Large-scale formats will entertain us. Other shows will make us think. Our TV is part of our daily life and it is in good shape. Happy TV season!

Masked singers

Masked singers

A big hit last fall, with ratings reaching over 1.8 million, the Masked singers are back to mystify us once again. A grandiose rendezvous, mind-blowing costumes created by exceptional craftsmen, spectacular staging, artists who play the game with generosity and investigators who have a sense of repartee, all the elements for an entertainment that comes out of our daily lives and does not go unnoticed

Sunday 6:30 p.m. on TVA

That's how I love you

That's how I love you

Tasty black series written by François Létourneau which plunges us into the daily life of petty suburban criminals in the 1970s. Huguette (Marilyn Castonguay), Gaétan (Létourneau), Micheline (Karine Gonthier-Hyndman), Serge (Patrice Robitaille), Marie- Josée (Sophie Desmarais) and Lucien (Jean-François Provençal) come back to us even hungrier than before. This time, the war is caught between Huguette, “the eye of the devil”, in Quebec, and Grazia, known as the praying mantis, of Montreal. Lots of lies and cocaine play in the heads of our holiday mobsters for our greatest pleasure.

Indefensible

A daily series that is already causing a lot of talk since TVA is attacking the 7 p.m. slot with a lot of aplomb. Nadine Bismuth leads a team of writers, Pierre Houle and Marc Bisaillon ensure the script-editing and Stéphane Simard, the production. Sébastien Delorme embodies Me Léo MacDonald, a bloodthirsty and passionate vigilante who drags a family past. Michel Laperrière is Me André Lapointe, his partner, dean with a remarkable career, with a paternal side. Anne-Élisabeth Bossé is Me Marie-Anne Desjardins. L 'Escape

The Escape

The final left us speechless. You can't believe that Jade, so composed and rational in the past, was so blinded by Jean-Simon to participate in a collective suicide. Little information has leaked on this subject, but the investigation is likely to occupy part of the season which resumes three months after the events. There will always be talk of conspiracy with Anatole Dufresne and his entourage. Claudie rehabilitates her mother in her life. It remains to be seen whether the balance will always be there. And a new young man arrives at the center after committing a gesture of great brutality.
