“The inner coating of the can in phenoxy resin is produced from Bisphenol A (or BPA, Editor's note)”, explains Rappel Conso.
An endocrine disruptor banned since 2012
Banned in France since 2015 in food containers, Bisphenol A is considered by the French National Agency for Food Safety (ANSES) to be an endocrine disruptor and is suspected of being linked to multiple disorders and diseases (breast cancer, infertility, etc.).
The batch concerned is the "N°08/02/2025 L09B". Conso Recall invites people who have purchased Coca-Cola Cherry in cans bearing this batch number to stop consuming it. A recall procedure is open until August 27.
You can return the cans concerned to the store and request a refund.
