Bennedict Mathurin returns in defeat

The Quebecer's team has lost a third game in its last four outings. In addition, she lost her flag against a team that only collected its 23rd victory of the season. The Hornets are second to last in the Eastern Conference standings.

The Pacers started the game well and had an 18-point lead after the first quarter. The crowd favorites, however, had the better of every other quarter in this duel. Kelly Oubre sounded the charge for the winners, amassing 28 points in the process. Terry Rozier and Gordon Hayward also did well with 23 and 22 points respectively.

Coming back to Mathurin, the Montreal-Nord native was making a comeback after missing the last four home games due to an ankle injury. Used as a starter, he had 18 points, three rebounds and two assists in 30 minutes of play.

Myles Turner and Buddy Hield each had 20 points in the loss.
