Beware of these Coca-Cola and Fanta cans, several batches are being recalled throughout France

Ce jeudi 5 septembre 2024, des lots de canettes Coca-Cola Zéro et de Fanta sont rappelés dans toute la France à la suite d’un problème d’étiquetage.

On the government website Rappel conso, two new files appeared this Thursday, they concern cans of Coca-Cola without sugar and caffeine, but also Fanta Orange due to a labeling problem. These have been marketed since last month throughout the country.

A missing mention

The cans concerned are Coca-Cola WITHOUT SUGAR WITHOUT CAFFEINE&33&cl as well as Fanta Orange Without Sugar&33&cl Limited Edition Halloween, the site details. These are lots 237DK31500 to 237DK32013 and 219DK30000 to 219DK30649, note Rappel Conso.

They were sold in several brands: Carrefour, Auchan, Cora, Système U, Leclerc, Match, ITM and Proxi-Maximo.

If they are recalled throughout France, it is because of a mandatory mention which is absent on the latter.“Contains a source of phenylalanine”, (an amino acid present in proteins, Editor's note) this is the exact information missing from the products, underlines BFMTV Conso.

Anyone in possession of the cans concerned is invited to go to their point of sale in order to return the products concerned. The customer will then be able to obtain a refund.
