BFMTV and RMC acquired: Rodolphe Saadé's CMA CGM group will become owner of Altice Media

Ce vendredi 15 mars, une promesse d'achat a été signée par CMA CGM pour la reprise d'Altice Media, qui possède notamment BFMTV et RMC.
The CMA CGM group announced on Friday the signing of a promise to purchase with the Altice France group with a view to acquiring the entire capital of' #39;Altice Media.
Already at the head of La Tribune
This acquisition will be carried out jointly by CMA CGM and Merit France, at 80% and 20% respectively, on the basis of an enterprise value of 1.55 billion & #39;euros, indicates the group in a press release.
The world's 3rd largest container shipping company, which already owns the newspaper La Tribune and La Provence, thus places in its purse the continuous news channel BFMTV and the radio RMC.

"The CMA CGM project aims to continue the development of Altice Media, to continue investing in technology and to always guarantee pluralism and ’editorial independence", indicated Altice France in a press release.
