US President Joe Biden vowed on Sunday that the United States would not abandon war-torn Ukraine, and urged Republicans to stop “playing” with the threat of a shutdown after a tentative deal was reached. was concluded at the last minute on Saturday.
“I want to say to our allies, to the American people and to the people of Ukraine, you can count on our support. We will not abandon Ukraine, he said in a televised address from the White House.
